Unborn grandchild...
My son (someguy29187) and his wife Becky are expecting a baby around June 23rd. However, Becky started bleeding and having contractions yesterday. The doctor administered drugs but she still spent last night in the hospital for observation. This morning they started again and the anti-contraction meds had to be doubled. The doctor hasn't decided if she will go home today or spend another night.
The ultrasound showed Baby Piper looking great for 29 weeks but the longer she stays in the womb the better. Becky is tired but also in good health.
Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Unborn grandchild...
Your family will be in my thoughts.
A word of comfort, I have two beutiful kids, a 4 year old daughter and an 8 year old son born at 27 and 29 weeks gestation, respectively(1lb7oz and 2lb8oz). Both are healthy, happy, smarter than their old man and unaffected by their premature birth and low birth weight. (except that my daughter is still a runt) The longer she stays in the better, but modern medicine has come a LONG way in treating premies. Just stay on top of those doctors and make sure they make wise decisions.

Re: Unborn grandchild...

Becky is home but on strict bed rest and meds to keep the contractions from coming on.
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Re: Unborn grandchild...UPDATED!
I just wanted to say thank you again for all of your prayers. Becky continued to have various pregnancy related issues and Piper arrived a little early but very healthy!
