Default 1455sc lowe roughneck opinions

Looking at purchasing a lowe roughneck 1455sc with a 60/40 merc jet- wondering if anybody has any experience with these. wondering if being a side console makes it lean to one side (boat ways about 100lbs more than normal 14ft jon boats-reason it can handle motor) also wondering how a 60/40 jet would push that boat loaded up? Can't find a dealer that has one to test drive so need to investigate before the purchase, thanks

Any other opinions will be much appreciated,

Welcome. Lowe Makes a GREAT BOAT!! We just bought an 18' VT with a tiller.

I think the boat will list a bit with one person, but you could balance it out I imagine.

As far as power I think your are fine

Again, WELCOME!

BTW - You'll get a BUNCH of answers if you post on the main fishing board.

I have a 17/60 roughneck with a merc. 60/40...runs like a scalded dog..mine is a tiller setup and I added an 18 gallon fuel tank under the bow...with 3 and sometimes 4 people the boat runs out very well ...just an opinion but the 14 may be a bit small..sloppy days on the columbia would not be comfy
