Default Crescent ramp?
Anyone know if the gate to the Forest Service ramp is open yet, or if theres too much snow?

Last I heard was it's still closed. But that was a week ago. Tom and Lori should be back from vacation by now, I'd give them a buzz up at the lodge.

I called Crescent Forest service office. They opened it a week or 2 ago to plow and there was so much ice under the snow they stopped plowing and relocked the gate. They are shooting for the 25th.

For someone that's never fished Crescent or Odell, can you recommend a technique or two for chasing browns and macs...especially from a kayak!
