Default Sandy River-Cedar Creek 1-9-04

Plan on another 15 to 20 minutes on the hike with all of the downed limbs. Water was beautiful and the fish were biting ( Someplace else that is ) Standing across from the cliff face was quite the treat. Some of the boulders landing in the river almost sprayed us.

Thanks for the report. How high was the water and what was the color when you were there? I hear it changes a lot at that spot. I caught my first silver on a fly there last September and was wondering about trying for a winter run steelhead this year, if the water isn't too high or silty.
