Got 'em Back (fish replicas by Dave Smith)
Well, Dave just finished a couple of 8 pounders for me and my dad. These replicas look amazing, Dave did an awsome job! You can see how Dave painted every scale by hand. These are the best largemouth mounts I've ever seen in person.
We just got the Largies back. They're both over 8 pounds. The third mount we have on the wall is the state record smally we had Dave do for use to.

Re: Got 'em Back (fish replicas by Dave Smith)
Beautiful. Hats off to the artist, and the fishers. What a wall.
As an aside,my family has a few artists, and I mean this as no offense to anyone, but in my view. questions about what it costs might best be made to the artists directly and not in a public forum. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that we often get caught up on what things are worth, what they cost, ect, rather than just enjoying them. I wouldn't worry bout the cost til I catch a 7lb smallie--that's when I call Mr. Smith!

I agree, in order to put a price on a peice of art, you would need to consider so many different factors. Just throwing a number on it, doesnt do the peice justice! I am currently remodeling an art gallery, one of the peices sold today for 400$ it was of all things "Art" the yellow lane divider line that we see everyday on the road to and from our travels. It was laying on the side of the road! The artist was smart enough ti pick the peice of yellow metal up and frame it! Its all about what it is worth to the buyer!

Nice work, Dave. I'll give you a call when I top 7 pounds (I'm always hopeful, but don't hold your breath waiting).
