Default T14 Sinking Tips

I saw some discussion on these sinking tips on Westfly and so decided to check them out. They are made of Tungsten steel apparently and have all the sinking qualities of lead core with the flexibility you won't get in lead core.
Kaufmanns will cut them to size for you and will help you figure out exactly what you need for $.50 a foot!
I got an 8 foot tip with the grain weight of something like 200 + grains. They even tied a loop in it for me.
So when water conditions are right I will be giving this a try.

Sounds like the price is right.

I purchased the ???? ( a mind is a terrible thing to waste ) crap,,,,,,, It's from airflo and is for cutting up your own length sink tips. The stuff is very limber but the extra weight is a bear to cast. The back cast is terrible but the forward cast is a dream. I'm amazed how far I can throw the stuff.
