Default Lakes or Rivers?

What do you enjoy fishing more?

For me, it's rivers. Something about the moving water. I have a hard time getting as excited about lakes.

1. Steelhead
2. Redsides
3. Trout stuck in lakes that are overweight.

That is a tough one. I love lake fishing and I love fishing rivers. If I had to choose one that I enjoy more it would have to be rivers.

Given the amount of fishing I have done lately I would take a mud puddle. In general I like rivers and streams, but I like catch big brook trout from lakes.

that's tough. I love the challenges rivers offer, with varied water conditions. Still though, casting to a rising trout on a glass fat lake and hearing the slurp is cool. I've had some awesome days like that on Davis, so much fun. River fishing is probably tops though.

I've had good times on both, but i would have to say rivers are my favorite... I like the running water and the fact that you can feel totally alone on a river, where as a lake doesnt have that same feeling.

I feel totally alone most of the time :depressed:
That's why I hang out on ifish and meet cool people.

Water is water... unless of course it is moving water, then it is something altogether ethereal. In Ireland, my favorite river was just the right speed to empty your mind and lull you to sleep (the Guiness might have had something to do with that)... fortunately, the native brown alarm clock went off on the half hour.

I like lakes, and I like rivers as long as I don't have to do much wading - a bad knee and slippery rocks do not mix well. Shoot, if there were trout in my toilet, and I could cast reasonably well, I would fish there also!

i like streams that come into lakes. i like hitting that water that looks like it is still, but has a slight current to it (like davis and harriet lake). if i had to choose just one, then i would be rivers for sure.

Lakes produce larger trout, but streams are like the veins of life. Can't live with out them.

Hey Camel, if you're lucky you might find a brown trout in your toilet. Seriously though, I would have to say rivers rule!
