Default And the winner is....

First off I would like to thank Stew for coming up the idea to have this contest....Thanks Stew..

Next I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to share with your fellow fly fishers these tips.

All the tips given can help all ff if you have not heard them before. Try them as they will help you improve your fly fishing.

So here are my favorites...

2nd runner up to:

Fall River Guy for his tip:

" For small flies I use Super Glue instead of head cement because it is less viscous and easier to place."

1st runner up to:

Airborn for his tip:

"Place some form of I.D. on your rods and gear that way when you forget them somewhere they can be easily returned to the rightful owner [laughing] (big wish)what works good are the return address labels that seem to show up in the mail asking for some form of gift/donation(my gift is the fact that they somehow have my name and continue to sell it)they can be covered with clear tape or glassed over with flex coat for that pro-look."

And for the tip I liked the best was the one I did not submit so that makes me the winner...right... ...just trying to keep the winner in suspense...

Goes to OregonRedSide for his tip:

"If you do not have bead heads on your flies and wish you did - take some beads along with you and thread one onto your tippet before you tie on your fly. ONce your fly is tied on, slide the bead down and push onto the eye of the hook - VOILA! Instant beadhead."

So ORS send Stew your address so he can get you your new Leatherman...and please don't forget to send Leatherman a thank you.... (You can PM Stew with the info.)

And again you are all winners and thanks again for your entries...

Giz...
