Homemade Flybox Tip
I have been getting AOL disc in the mail and they come in a really nice tin box, I simply glued in a piece of foam and it works great, I'll post a picture of it as soon as I can. Almost looks professional...

Re: Homemade Flybox Tip
I do that with the altoids-type tins that Fisherman's Friend lozenges come in. The lozenges are wicked strong and beat vicks to a blue pulp as far as effectiveness, too.
Fred Meyer is the only local place that carries them here, and since they have two flavors, I can have two different colored boxes... perfect sized for pockets.

Re: Homemade Flybox Tip
No question the Fisherman's Friends are more effective, but the Sucret's box is plastic so better flotation and rust-resistence AND it has a little clear window in the lid for fly spying.
Although you might learn how NOT to anchor a db, you just don't see many great tips like these on the 'other' thread.

Re: Homemade Flybox Tip
I've got a cool one. I take my fly boxes and keep sucrets, AOL CD's, and Altiods and keep them in it, works like a charm!

Re: Homemade Flybox Tip
Great tip. My wife is an Altoid addict so I can get all the boxes I want.
The Fisherman's Friend lozenges are very effective and a source of amusement in the truck when my daughter and her friend want a lozenge just because I have one in my mouth. It usually takes all of 3 seconds before the lozenges are launched out the window with a chorus of moans and groans.
