Talking New place to fish

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to Oregon, I just got my fishing license and so far have not had any luck at either Commonwealth or Hagg lake. I was wondering what other bodies of water besides rivers are around the PDX area I have heard of Devils lake but I'm just looking for a local lake or pond. Any ideas. Any kind of fish will do, just wanna get my hands wet ha ha.

Benson Lake by Multnomah Falls was stocked a couple weeks ago. On the week of 4/20 will get another 4000. Also the pond on your right as you enter Benson Park (Hartman Pond) will also be stocked the same week w/ 1750.

Trojan Ponds have fish and more to come on 4/13(about an hour from Portland).

Vernonia Pond is another option- a little further.

Jim

How about Washington?- Lacamas Lake(Camas), Horseshoe Lake(Woodland), Battleground Lake.

Try bethany pond, near you. It's been unusually cold this winter/spring. The bite will be better in April/May.

Hagg is good but you have to know where to fish it and when, are you on the bank? If so try the inlets and creek mouths, try differant powerbaits and gulps using a small treble with a 18-24 inch leader with slider.
