Suzuki Gas Hose Connection

I plan to go over the bar this summer chasing salmon and I am going up to Neah Bay in May. One of my preparations is to get a 6 gallon gas tank plumbed to the kicker motor. Currently the main motor and the kicker are plumbed to the main tank. This is very convenient but after reading here about people getting bad gas and fouling both the main and kicker motors I want the separate tank for redundancy.

My kicker is a 2004 9.9 Suzuki four stroke. When looking for the hose connection to the motor I can find Merc, Yamaha, Evinrude but I haven't found Suzuki. I have an older Evinrude that looks to be very close to the same connection and seems to attach to the Suzuki motor. Are these the same or does someone know where to buy the Suzuki hose connection?

I had the same problem on my 08 Suzuki. I ended up using a Merc fitting and it fit just fine.

Thanks for the information. Fishkisser thanks for the part number. I was hoping to find something locally. I guess I could always order it.

Anybody else use a mercury or evinrude connection on their Suzuki?
