Hagg Lake Report (Pic)
Caught this nice brooder today at Hagg Lake. Fished out of my float tube trolling a worm with a tiny splitshot. After a awesome fight I was finally able to tail the fish and get it on the stringer. Measured at 25 in and weighed 9.3 lbs.

Re: Hagg Lake Report (Pic)
The wife and I went Friday, we tried trolling, bottom fishing with worms, we tried bobber fishing and still nothing. We then tried shore fishing and still nothing. Either I don't know how to fish or the water still to cold ughh irritating. Oh and by the way who wrote the stupid law of no corn? Thats all we use back in the midwest for ice fishing. Well any suggestions or tips lemme know. Thanks

Re: Hagg Lake Report (Pic)
Start at ramp C going counter clockwise trolling a green and brass or a red and silver wedding ring with 1/8 oz weight above the swivel. This is if the fish are at 5-7 feet as usual. If the are jumping all over the place, go to 1/16 oz. Stay about 50-100 feet from the bank and watch your depth for shallow spots. When you find a screen full of fish, troll back and forth over them. Put 1/3 of a worm or a piece of gulp worm on your hook. Too much and they just steal your bait. Leave your rod in the holder, and they will set the hook themselves. When the water temp reaches 50 degrees plus, you will be limiting. Colors change, so start with one rod green and on red, one rod 1/16 oz and one at 1/8 oz.
