Default Hagg Lake smallmouth

The state record for smallmouth comes from this lake and I've seen guys in float tubes fly fishing it. Has anyone here done it? We should get together this spring and give it a try

I have tubed Hagg for smallmouth about a year ago and did pretty well. I used #6 wooly bugger and mudlers on a shooting head-the fish were suspended at about 12 feet. I caught about a dozen fish-two in the 3-4 pound range in a short afternoon. Give it try.-Tim

The State record for Smallmouth came on a beaded head wooly bugger. It was taken in October 2000 at Hagg lake.

Is this an early season fishery or is it fishable all summer?
