Thinking of Hagg Lake Today

Hey all, I'm thinking about going to Hagg lake this afternoon. Anyone been out there lately? I know they stocked it in late Feb, and don't expect to see this weeks truck tomorrow, but just wondering. Any bass yet? Thanks for the input.

Was there yesterday. Fished 5 hours, no fish. Tried trolling and still fishing, but no luck. We did talk to someone who fished from the bank who had good luck with powerbait eggs. I didn't see anyone fishing for bass. The water is still pretty cold. Water temp was 47 degrees.

I live up here on Sain creek and all of us locals have been getting zero, there are a few here and there though you just have to find the right inlet and powerbait combo. Good luck

I was up there Sunday trolling 3 rods for 3 hours. Very windy from 11:00 on. My daughter lost one, our only hook up of the day. Didn't see any fish caught, bank or boat.

I caught a real nice brooder today. Fished at boat ramp c in my float tube. Trolling a worm did the trick.

Getting back to everyone a little late. Took the canoe to Sain Cove. Caught one trout fishing a wooly bugger real slow with a sinking tip along the edge of the weeds, always awesome on a fenwick feralite. Nothing with berkley power eggs on the ugly stick, even with shrimp scent...tried chart, orange and pink on 3 .lb maxima line with single egg hook and single egg. Found a section in the widest part of the cove filled with a small hatch of mosquitoes and something looking like a fore and aft imitation. Saw quite a few rises, some coming out of the water. Nice day since it didn't rain.

We fished it Monday and had one bite on a flasher and worm all day. Never talked with anyone who landed a fish. Very slow.

Fished Hagg today with my son. Water temp was 49.8 on the N.W.
corner at the dame to A boat ramp. Did,nt touch a fish from 1:00PM
till 5:00pm then released a brooder 5lbs or so and 5 stockers. One split
shoot 4feet of 3lb leader and any gold spoon.

Nice to see the ifish stickers out there.

I got 2 the other day from the creek a nice 2 1/2 and twenty min later a nice 5 3/4 all off the bottom.

My friend and I were there also, didnt touch a thing. I have ifish stickers on my boat. Was that you when we we taking out? Red n white Larson.

Are you saying you caught the fish after 5

m? We fished from 9:30 to 3:30 and had numerous bites (over a dozen) I'm embarrassed to say we could only hook three stockers. I was very frustrated. They were biting so light. Sounds like I may packed it up a little too soon. Good job on that brooder

My wife and I were there Sunday as well. Only hooked 1 stocker all day. Left around 2:30. Good shake-down outing for my new-to-me sled.
