Default North Umpqua news ??

I finally got a few days off next week and I am Umpqua bound. Has anyone been down there lately ? Much in the way of Steelies in the river ? A few silver Hiltons, red brats and royal treatments and I'm on my way.
I plan on continuing the tradition of stopping off at the Blue Heron for news and to chew a little fat with Joe Howell. I started that tradition just this year and found him to be a real gent, good talker.
I'd appreciate any news you may have.
Cheers
