Default Help with big spawning Brookies?

First time posting on this forum- sorry it is begging for help! one of my favorite things to do used to be fishing for big Brooks in October. I haven't done this in years and was wondering if Hosmer is still good? over-run with people as it started to get? how about size class of Brooks this year? thank you!!!!! any other advice? places? want quality not quantity! PM fine- will pay you back with whatever you want and will take locations to my grave. Dave

Default Re: Help with big spawning Brookies?

It seems like Hosmer is getting more and more popular every year Dave. I have had some sucess near the lilypads close to the boat launch because it seems like people head straight across the lake to pursue Atlantics. I'm think a better bet would be East Lake and it's close by Hosmer too  Try dark calebeatis patterns if you go to East Lake.
Hope this little bit of info helps.
