Default Where to find a spark plug socket?

Have been looking for two days and cannot find a 18mm thin (enough) walled socket. It's for a 50hp 4 stroke Honda. Bought a thin wall socket from Graingers, but was only able to get bottom plug out. Called auto parts stores,Stevens, Honda dealer with no luck. Guess I might have to do some grinding on the socket.

I've heard the Craftsman 18mm Deep Well Sparkplug Socket will fit the HONDA 50 but can't confirm it.

ITEM NUMBER: 943330
MODEL # 43330
6 point - 3/8" drive
Sells for ~$4.00

Snap-On - 18mm Sparkplug Socket- Stock#: S9711KA is another option but price is ~$30

I have a Honda 25, 18mm is stock, Napa sold me new champion plugs and they are 5/8ths, that's like 16.9 mm, gives you more room. Made for an extra run to and from the moorage. I've had machine shops turn down sockets. Honda should have the tool, they are formed rather than broached.

I used a bar wrench from my chainsaw tools and cut the handle off then put a socket on the 9/16 side>>>worked like a charm. Mine is a merc 9.9 but same prob!!!
