Favorite early spring baits/techniques?

Just wondering. My personal favorite is a chartreuse/white 1/4 ounce spinnerbail with a large colorado blade, fished slowly over the tops of the weeds in 6-10 feet of water. Next would have to be a rattlin spot fished about the same way, although a little faster. As the water warms and they move in, switch to either a zoom fluke or weightless power worm. What about you guys?

Sounds like your fishing for some LMBs

I mainly fish for smallies, and my "go-to" early spring lures are a jig, tube and crankbait..... depending on water temp, current and clarity.

I truly believe spring fishing is more about finding the fish that having the right lure, obviously to a certain degree. If you find a school, you can figure out what they are going to eat. Whereas in the summer, you may need to have your bait dialed in to catch fish.
