Default Next Fly Swap Update

We have 13 people interested in this fly swap. I need to hear back from you all if this amount is ok. This would be a total of 13 flies, the 13th fly would go to Jordan.

Thats a good question. This is my 2nd swap so I'm not really sure. This is OUR swap so we all need to decide. I'ld think with the amount of patterns out there it shouldn't be a problem.

Okay count me in then. Might want to have the time a little longer than the last one because of the amount of flies involved. I'll probably do some kind dry fly or perhaps a nymph of some kind.
I can't do the little stuff anymore but probably have some stuff already tied...either way you'll have my flies next week sometime.

I can do 14 flies, just give me some time. Do we share which fly we are making with the group to avoid duplication?

I'm game, should we all just decide on a fly to tie, and make 14 of them. This time of year, maybe we all tie wets or nymphs? what's our time frame here?
Should be fun, I did'nt tie enough this past year, but I did find a really cool roll top desk at an estate sale that perfect for a flytying set up.
Can I be so bold and start by offering up 14 black midge pupas. . They just plain catch fish, and I think everyone would enjoy one in the old fly box.

Ok, I think my pattern will be a Beadhead Caddis Larva. Simple to tie (14 shouldn't take too long), and easy to replicate if you find it successful. This fly seems to produce on the deschutes when the fish are being extra finicky.

Actually, take me off the list. I put myself as a maybe in first place. I don't trout fish, and I'd pretty much be tying a downsized steelhead fly. So, take me off the list this time. Next steelhead/salmon swap, I'll be there.

I'll do a BWO emerger. This is a very productive fly during the BWO hatch on Fall River.

Thought you guys might want to see who ties the flys and gets to fish with them. He is my pride and joy. Jordan has been fishing literally since he was 3 and out fishes me 90% of the time.

Any suggestions on what fly I should tie that works well in the Mt Hood Lakes area? Moderate difficulty. I can't get the exact copy of the tiger rat right, but I've been practicing quiet a bit and can tie a pretty decent fly.

Dave,
I know where that shot is of your boy, it's a veritable aquarium there, tons of fun to fish.
That kid of yours like a pro, I'm sure you're a
very proud dad. Hope my little one will enjoy flyfishing like I do when he's old enough to wave a stick.
the 10th sounds good, I'll work on mine next week.

I'm sorry guys, I wussed out and tied a standard
chironomid pupa. It's not as fancy as some you guys tied I'm sure, but it kicks butt, slowly stripped in lakes especially. David, you should get them in tommorrows mail.
