Default Miller anchor roller ?

I keep breaking my zip ties on my anchor chain when dropping anchor. Those that have a Miller could you recommend how you rig your chain from the bottom of the anchor to the top metal loop.

Just add heavier zip ties. The ones you are using are too weak. Just zip tie the link that meets the top ring of the anchor.

Wrap the zip tie around the anchor eye and chain 2 times before feeding the zip tie through the eye of the zip tie and double up on the ties if they are breaking. If you bought the zip ties at Harbor Freight buy better ties also.

Thanks for the info must have weak zip ties. Only used the anchor roller a few times on the new boat. How heavy should i buy in terms of breaking strength for a 25# anchor. Thanks again.

Ditto

I had weak ones for awhile then changed up a size, much better. They will snap when needed, but not every little tug.

Mine are 75# ties but work fine for the Willamette and the lower CR. But my boat is only 17' Super Vee
