Default Panther 35 electric lift for kicker

Mine stopped working yesterday with the kicker in the up position (fortunately for the run back to the marina). No hum, no buzz, no nothing when I push either up or down button. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? What was the problem and how did you fix it? Thanks.

Mine had a plug in type connection between the transom and the motor. It would get corrosion and loose contact. I fought the crap out of that but once I figured it out I clean the connection real good then taped and sealed it and no more worries. Trace the wires from the solenoid to the motor and see if yours has the same plug.

Thanks, Jedcraft. There is a connector there. I'll take it apart and clean the contacts. Maybe that will help. thanks again.

And apply dielectric grease. That will help with the corrosion.
