Default Maxxum hot points?

I have a stock switch that is for the depth finder. Behind the panel, where do I pick up the hot wire at?
Next, why do they sell radio antennas in a big tube for shipping and do not solder the coax?

Cool Re: Maxxum hot points?

Grab your test light and find an open switched spade connector if you have circuit breakers ...
Or take some pictures and post them , I don't know if your new boat is wired with dedicated positive and negative busses , fuse panels or what ...
As far as the antennas ...

antenna's (vhf) are shipped w/o the end for one you only need to drill a 1/4" hole to feed the cable v/s a 3/4".marine cb ant.come with the end on and should not be cut off.Old lesson learned the hard way.As far as power they will usually have a fuse block, but sometimes are hidden.what size maxum?

It is a 24 ft. I figured out the wiring and the fish finder is installed and the radio is next. Maiden voyage should be next Saturday.
