Anyone been fishing the lower "D" for redsides and/or steelhead?

Fished last Sunday morning early (on water ~ 5:15 am). Two of us swung steelhead flies with only one good tug.

I did catch a nice smallmouth (~1.75#). For a few minutes there I thought I was going to get my first summer out of the D. Fun fight anyway.

There were several guys out that morning and I saw no fish caught. They should be coming soon

And be patient. I know, I know, I gotta be patient. Hard to do though when all the local rivers are so low :depressed: that spitting in them would raise them a good foot. Thanks for the update.
