Default Laurance Lake

My freind wants to take his 2 sons out in their new float tubes this week. So I was wondering if Laurance was still in good shape. Or if anyone had any good ideas. I think I'll go with them so I'm interested as well.

I would like to see them catch some fish on their fly rods. That would be cool.

Thanks Guys

I was there Friday, you must go early as the wind
comes up around 11:00 am and did not really go
down, however in the cove by the dam it was okay
I caught fish on Flashback Phesant tails, chronimids, and wooley buggers (black/green)and
in the evening used a Parachute Adams and they
were hitting that all so.

Good luck, and it is great to take young kids
fishing.

:depressed: Just a note to let everyone to know that they have the bridge to Laurance Lake closed until the end of August. They are working on it.
We wound up fishing a few lakes up off 26. Didn't do very well.

The water was pretty warm. Summer doldrums I guess.

Lost lake out of Hood River is close to Laurance and can be good. I think that road is open. It has "some" pretty big fish.
