Default warm springs update?

Anyone fished warm springs area in the last few days? My old man was there friday and said it was pretty good. I am sure the nymphing will be fine this week, but I am a little afraid that the last few days of hot weather may have flushed out the last of the salmonflies. Gotta love that all-day surface action while it lasts. I'm heading down at the end of the week, and will post a report.

Remember, after the nymphs have all crawled up the trees and cast their shucks, it's time for ovipositing! There's some great fishing with giant dry flies, if you've got the right pattern!

I fished Thursday AM & PM and Friday AM without hooking a fish. Saw one fish caught. And one hooked by one of the Louds, who hollered and broke it right off -- you gotta give 'em that first run ...

Never seen so many snakes though.

we fished saturday and half of sunday and did ok out of mecca. we fished beadhead regularand red pt's with cdc tied in below stones. also did some dry as well with not much luck but there were guys there that were doing great in the late afternoon on the surface. we also fished a few other softhackles, princes and such but the pt's worked best for us. aroung size 14-16. the fish we got also were pretty big and fat. the biggest was landed by my friend at the house (lewelins) sp? going around 20 inches. we also broke off a couple in mid air that were close to that mark as well.
