Default Fall River Update

I took some friends who are from out of town down to the falls yesterday for some sightseeing. While walking back from the falls I spotted my first fish in the river down steam from the borate contamination area. I watched a guy fishing at the falls while we were sightseeing but he had no joy while we were there.

Fish can not get up the falls right? So how are there brown trout in the upper section?

It is my understanding that the fish can make it up the "falls." I have not witnessed it personally, but have heard from some of the locals that in the autumn you can watch the browns trying to negotiate the falls.
