Default 18' alumaweld sled overall length

Thinking of selling my DB and getting a cheap sled. Needs to fit in the driveway, so i'm thinking of a 16' or 18' sled probably a flattie due to price, but maybe a semi vee if I can swing it. Driveway is 22' long from garage to sidewalk. I can install a swing tongue to cut down the length. What is the overall length from the back of a 150 or 115 outboard to the front of the winch on the trailer for an 18' boat? Is it less than 22'? Anyone got measurements?

Thanks.

18.5 NR with swing tounge = 24'.

Great choice on a Flat Bottom sled. The older Alumawelds are one of my all time fav's. (Wish I had one for the Clack.)

thanks guys,

seadog, is that to the winch or to the end of the trailer tongue? Looks like 18' might be just slightly too long for me

thanks!

I had an 18' Alumaweld flatty that just beat me up bad in any chop or waves. I sold it & got a 16' Willie Preditor w/90 Yamaha jet, it is a sweet ride in the Big C. It fits in my 24' garage perfect with room to walk around the tonge & back. Since I rarely fish more than 2 people it has been a great fit for my style of fishing, & I always get complements on it where ever I go!!!
