Default 9.9 Force only firing on one cyc!

Well My brother just gave me a 9.9 force for my drift boat to go out on the Big C to use the most of my time since not workingat the moment. They thing is not getting a spark on the bottom cyc. Has anyone have anything like this before? I'm thinking the stator? Please I need to go out and do some catching!!!!!!!!!!! I might go out on my Electric trolling motor from Camas to I5 area launch. But would like to have the gas one running just in case I need to go in a hurry for weather. Thanks alot

I believe that motor has a coil pack for each cyl...Id say it might be that. Sorry to hear you have a force motor.

I had this problem with my 9.9 mariner and it was the box that sends the signal to the coils I found this out after buying new coils. maybe this will help
