Default Oak grove of the clackamas

I was thinking of going fly fishing on the oak grove fork but not being to familiar with any of the hatch up there. But that last year I killed the brook trout on salmon eggs well it is time to break in the fly rod anyone have any idea for fly’s to use thanks in advance.

Unless the regs have changed recently isn't all the Oak Grove Fk. artificials only?

Regardless, it's a wild trout fishery and deeply taken bait - like salmon eggs - should not be used.

For flies, I like dry attractors like small Stimulators, Clarks Stone, or various elk hair caddis type patterns.

All standards should work. Try a 16 - 18 serendipity with a small split shot about 6 inches in front of it.
