north santiam trout fishing report
I fished the north santiam on saturday just above fisherman's bend and at minto park from noon till about 3:30PM C&R for trout. I only caught 3, the largest being about 12". I did lose one larger fish at Minto. All of my action came on a bead head hare's ear size 12. Usually I do quite a bit better than this, I was a little dissapointed, but it sure was a beautiful day. I did not see any steelhead/springers in the water nor speak to anyone who had any luck with them.
