Coastal Cutthroat

Fun day of C&R on some nice cutts. They were hitting on a #20 Yellow Mayfly and a #16 Yellow Humpie dry flies. I was fishing some pretty tight quarters to had to mostly roll cast but the fish were there and rose almost directly downstream of where I was fishing. I hooked 5 fish in less than 1/2 hour with the biggest about 14-16"
If any of you guys get a chance to head over to the Kilchis/Wilson/Trask I highly recommend it

Im also interested, ive been wanting to fish coastal rivers for cutthroat, but dont know where to go, any advice would be much appreciated. thanks.

I seem to have the best luck in the lower river and even tidewater area. Word of caution though there are some Chum salmon smolt in the Kilchis right now and they eat anything that moves! Best to go barbless

How far up do they eventually go? (kilchis) i woudl love to take my toon down that river
