I'm assuming that we are going to do this at Laurence Lake on June 7th.

Who is coming and who needs float tube etc.

I'll Start:

Tanner
Bringing Pontoon boat and float tube - no spare fins.

Greenbuttskunk can go, and will bring one extra pontoon and an extra float tube. One set of fins for the tube also. Anyone up for a camp?

I'm in. Will be using my pontoon boat. Camp?... wouldn't have it any other way. Have room for others and gear in truck/trailer.

Still iffy too! Going camping over memorial day weekend without the wifey...and little girl. don't know if I can do back to back trips. I too have a float tube and fins if anyone is in need....

see, I have a valid excuse to do back to backs over the next two months, I'll be busy loosing sleep and changing diapers from mid july on, so no fishing for the summer. I told my wife I wanted to get alot in until then, and she's cool with that.

Congratulations Greenbuttskunk! I have a 10 week old little girl that I took fishing with me this past Saturday. I have a couple funny pictures from the outing...feeding her a bottle while sitting next to my rod, in it's holder...waiting for that bell to ring at Meldrum Bar. The wife thought I was crazy for wanting to bring her along...she slept 95% of the time...warm and cozy in the car...while I sat next to her reading...lazy fishing my Gramps calls it but...as the my signature says.....

Word is out. Can't make it. We have plans for that weekend, and the next. I am hoping to get the next in for fishing. If not, I'll have to quit my job to get some time in this Summer.

I will have to bow out of this one. With this heat, my 8-1/2 mo. pregnant wife is less that comfy, and I am going to score some brownie points and hang with her sat. I was looking forward to meeting some of you fellas, so hopefully I can hook up with some of you again soon. Offer still stands for a pontoon or float tube if anyone needs one for tomorrow. It doesn't look like many are able to go this time around :depressed: If there's another opportunity in the near future...I'm in...except 4th of July weekend...camping with the wifey, baby and dog...trying to keep the dog away from FT Vancouver....she HATES the fireworks...we give her tranquilizers and she's still a freak about em'. Good luck to those of you who end up going....

Well, I'm still going to be there. So I hope to see at least one or two of you there. I will be in a champaign Yukon XL with a Green Outcast on the roof. I will also have my 11 year old son with me and his blue water skeeyer pontoon.

Thanks for the idea. I'll set up a sprinkler and she can play under it. She's miserable these last few days. Tonight I think we'll take in a movie
in a well air-conditioned theater. Then we'll sleep in the pool room in the basement. Hope all of you have a great time out there, and let's plan another one later in the summer or fall. My favorite time to fish! :smile:

I'll keep an eye out for Tanner and son. Am driving a silver Landcruiser pulling a 4x8 trailer full of beer.

When one is a full-time househusband with two kids under 3 yrs. old and the wife gives a weekend-long hall pass to go fishin, one goes fishin. See you there! :grin:

A good time was had by all (all 3 of us)! Beer was drunk, stories were told, and fish were caught.
Son of Tanner caught many "nice size" fish, Tanner shared his secret recipe for trout fried in butter and we all got blown around in the wind a bit.
Catch included lots of hatchery rainbow, a cut or two and some very healthy and fiesty cutbows. My first time trolling with a fly and it was both relaxing and a hoot!
Thanks Tanner for the fishing tips and the recipe... my wife and kids enjoyed some trout and stories last night.
Let's do it again.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it a bigger turn-out. Perhaps something else. The cause is important. You just can't make it great for everyone's schedule. Glad you had fun.

Little North Fork it was good to meet you and fish with you. I'm glad the trout recipe went over. That is the only way I can eat those white meated stockers. BTW, thanks for letting me use your cookware. I felt like a real [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img] when I got up there and realized I left all that stuff at home. I'll e-mail ya sometime soon and we will fish.

Otolith showed up for a bit on Staurday. (It was good to meet you) and then quickly disappeared.

The fishing was great, the catching was excellent and I caught my biggest Laurence Lake trout this last weekend. A cutthroat of about 17", On a dry fly to boot. Sorry we didn't get a better turn out. You guys missed a great time.
