Default Trouble with Lowrance LMS527df gps/sonar unit

Couldn't get my Lowrance LMS527df to display the surface water temp or the speed over water. The items showed that they were selected "enabled" but they wouldn't display on the screen. The problem occurred when I was at Cathlamet yesterday morniing, 3/10/09. When I checked the batteries before launching, I discovered my main battery, the one most of my electronics was wired to, was dead. I switched over (Perko switch) to my secondary battery and everything worked out fine, except the above described problem. I did notice that it took a long time for the gps to acquire the satellite. Never had this problem before. Any ideas what's up?
Thanks,

Guessing that you've looked at the xducer and it isn't cakes with "critters" or algea--plugging up the paddle wheel and bottom of xuder.....

Then-

Save all your waypoints then do a master reset. If the software was hung up, this may unstick it. But def sounds like software.

PM me know if you need to know how to do the reset.
