Default Willamette Coastal Fork

Can anybody recommend a few areas of the Coastal Fork of the Willamette that are accessible?

Looking to get some the bows and cuttys on a river I have never fished.

Thanks, JS

Just east of Creswell there's a fair amount of access. If you take River Road, a right hand turn as your go east, there will be a few areas with access. Its a pretty weird river - its got trout, smallmouth bass, suckers, and a motherload of carp. If you go there in August and toss blackberrys in the water(where berry bushes hang over the river) the carp swarm on it. Pretty fun on light gear..until you get them to the bank then they are gross. Good luck

NF of Middle Fork is a pretty stream...but there are few decent sized fish there. Too cold, too shady.

This time of year there can be good flyfishing for rainbows that spend most of the year in Dorena Res but run up the river above it in spring. Never fished it but talked to a guy who got the rules changed to allow winter fishing (C&R). The river from the head of Dorena slackwater up to the covered bridge is supposed to be good fly water and access is all public.
