Default Beginning Fly Tying Update

Well we had our 2nd class last night. Last week we went over tools, material, and basics. This week we actually got to tie! We started with a olive Damsel Fly Nymph, and finished off with an olive Wolly Bugger. Ok heres the photo of my first 2 flys ever...(dont laugh!)

Damsel Nymph
Hook: Size #10
Thread: Black 3/0 mono-cord
Body: olive marabou
Tail: olive marabou
Copper wire ribbing

Wooly Bugger
Hook: Size #6 (3xl)
Thread: Black 3/0 Mono-Cord
Body: Olive Chennile
Tail: Olive Marabou (Body Length)
Hackle: Grizzly (plamered)
5-6 turns of lead wire for weight

Now I have to tie a couple dozen more of each to practice, practice, practice.... and then next week 2 more flys. Until then!
