Lost Rod On Siletz

On Monday 03-02-09 I was making my way from the Powder house to Moon Shine in my pontoon boat. I lost a 8'6" Spinning rod and Okuma reel in some heavy water. It was given to me by my dad in 1977 as a graduation present. To say the least it is of great sentimental value.

I went back on Saturday to try and find it with a gambrel and some 8/0 treble hooks. I drug the bottom for two hours all up and down the area where it should have been. I hook the line and got my hotshot back but no rod. I’m hoping an honest I fisher found it.

If any one happened upon it, could they let me know. I would be willing to pay to get it back or work out a trade for a free Springer trolling trip on the Columbia or Whatever.
