Default Pin-tal-lard

Straight up! Check this, was going shed hunting with my mom and was pointing birds out, and whats like, "Thats a pintail" and it hit me that it looked weird so I turned around, and was SHOCKED once I got a better look. Never have seen one in person, or would expect one in this area what so ever. Which it wasnt overcast....but I will never forget seeing this bad boy!

That's a crazy looking duck! During season, that would have been one for the mantle...would that count toward your pinnie, or your mallard limit?

That's as good as they get right there Joe!!! Awesome bird and sweet photos!
I believe that it doesn't count to your pintail limit.

I saw a similar one that a taxidermist had done up in my area. They seem to be rare, but the are out there.

That is my dream bird for the wall!! Very cool bird. Joe you might be surprised you may go back there and find him again in the next day or so if it is an area to his liking.

A pintallard does NOT count against your pintail limit. It counts as one duck out of your daily bag limit. I learned that the hard way.

Sweet bird! We shot a prefect one on the island 3 seasons ago. And they're right, it does not count against your pintail limit.
