Default Flyfishing steelhead class

Some have asked:

What flies to use?

What size and color: under what conditions?

What Tip is enough and how should I mend to best present my fly?

What is the right presentation?

Etc ETc

Tomorrow(Sunday the 8th), a free class will be given at Oxbow Park (Boat ramp) between 1 and 4 by a well known guide who has been mentioned a few times. Marty Sheppard will be showing and answering any questions you might have about catching steelhead on the Swing.

come one come all!

Marty is great guy, and a great fisherman. This will be worth attending.

Made the trip to Oxbow with my brother. We met Marty Shepard and learned more in 15 minutes than I have in the last two years.

Marty is a great guy and the time was very well spent. Can't wait to get back out a try some new stuff.

Wish I would have went. I opted for an afternoon on the N Santiam instead. Please keep us posted if they have another such event. I'd love to pick up some pointers and meet a few fellow steelheaders.

Cheers
