Default Oops! Curb shot.ouch

Was taking the sled to the river yesterday to blow the cobbwebs out of the pump. A little over a block from the house I swerved to miss some kids playing basketball in the street around the corner and POW! Major curb shot The tire has a xl sidewall hole now. Its amazing how fast it can deflate. So I put on the spare and continued on to the river and despite it all it was a enjoyable day.
The question where would you suggest to buy a replacement tire? Its on an aluminum rim that comes on the North River trailers, 15" if I remember right.
And by the way I missed the kids.
Thanks,'
Mike

Personally I'd take it to Schwab, because of convienience and they are generally straight shooters. I'd also be worried that the rim might be bent, so they could check that too. Good luck and glad you missed the kids.

Schwab. But check your tire pressure yourself after the job. They filled mine this time last year, and grossly overinflated them, at least 80 psi for a tire rated 45 max. Both tires blew within two weeks, one on the freeway at 60 mph. They made me right after it, but I learned a lesson about checking things. I suspect they had a malfunctioning air gauge.

Looks like Squabies will get the job, besides its time to do the spring changeover on the truck also.
