Springers!!! (PICS)
All these fish were taken on corky and yarn.
This is a picture of my first Spring.
This is a picture of my buddies first spring, gosh that thing was thick!
Pic of my girlfriends dad with one of many springs he caught!
My girlfriends first springer, she was so excited. She caught this before I got mine!
My girlfriends goofy brother.
Last pic, my girlfriend and her brother. My boat in the background. Proudly purchased from Ifish!
These were all caught with corky and yarn and did I mention on the Fraser! This was some of last years summer bounty. Figured I would share some pics from up north. This is my first time trying to post pics, enjoy!

Re: Springers!!! (PICS)
Hi Remdrake,
Nice fish!!
Where did you get your roughneck?
I traded mine in to Stevens Marine about 2 1/2 to 3 years ago, and I swear it's the same boat and trailer. I had built wood seat box's up front with the fish-on seats. I traded it in with a 50hp Merc, but I heard the motor was swapped out.

Re: Springers!!! (PICS)
I bought it from kruechief on here. It had an old 50hp merc that I sold and got my Yamaha from Drachir on ifish. Probably was your boat, it has the wood seats in front. I love this boat, it is the perfect Fraser boat.

Re: Springers!!! (PICS)
What a small world...
Does it have a little dent on the port side towards the back?
I bought that boat new from Brown's. I have caught plenty of Crab and Chinook out of that boat.
By the way, I have the gun locker that came stock with the boat, it mounts in the center of the boat like a bench seat. It's around 14" wide by 60" long. I'm sure you have a paint shadow in the middle of your floor that you can see where it mounted.
Its yours if you want to drive down to Sandy and get it. I also have some touch up paint for the boat.
Send me an Email for more info...

Re: Springers!!! (PICS)
The number of fins doesnt matter in Canada because the runs of nates are strong enough to be harvested. I dont think they clip chinook up in Canada anyway. I fish the Vedder all the time and most of the springs are going back to the hatchery but they arent clipped. Little different up there. These pics were taken in August of last year during sockeye season. We caught somewhere around 50-60 sockeye to go with these springs.

Re: Springers!!! (PICS)
Remember that Canadians call chinook "springs" if they are less than 30 pounds regardless of what time of year they are taken....
So, springers and springs are not necessarily the same thing!!!
