Default Using different brands of decoys in a goose spread?

Looking through some of the posts I ve read it is bad to mix different brands of decoys in a spread. Does it make that much of a difference mixing DSD's with Greenhead Gear?

The only thing I ever mixed, with good success that is, was 03 HC lessers and DSD's. That being said people have very different ideas of what "works"...

on occasion we will run a half dozen ghg's or fa's in with our decoys in a light wind those decoys will dance due to them being lighter weight than the dsd's. i wouldn't be to hip on running 3 dozen ghg's and 3 dozen dave's.
