Default springer report SLOW for me anyway

Put in many hours Sunday and Today, chasing springers, From 72 on up to frenchmans..... Needless to say we ended up empty handed both days . Did get to take out some ifishers that filled my open seats. (Spazz, and Riverliver) Enjoyed the company of both. And even got to swap techniques. You can always learn something new from Others. Just thought i would share the report, Even if it didnt involve blood on the boat, Both days were enjoyable! Thanks guys

Hey all reports don't need to have fish in them. Heck I would never post if that was the case
Besides that scratches the itch for awhile hearing there not in (or at least bitting) yet.

Sorry you didnt get anything Todd. You will get them next time, your good company to be around even if you dont catch a fish. Let me know if you need some company if you fish the Channel. Channel is pretty calm I can handle that. I was fishing on a beach and counted 41 rods most about 10 feet apart from eachother, with more rods around the corner that I couldnt see. I had a good weekend caught a fish but you know, I about had it with the beach fishing, its a hassle when it gets busy. Actually thinking of getting me a little boat to get out on some islands to beach fish / Camp this summer. I will be fishing this weekend but not sure where yet. Away from the crowds tho.
Talk to you soon.

Blacktail 519,

I picked up a nice 13lb Springer on February 15th, also had another bite that day but missed him. The river clarity was ideal that day and I think we just have to wait for the Willamette to come back into shape. Otherwise your just hoping to smack one upside the head vs. allowing them to actually see the presentation.

Good Luck!!
