My 1000 Post...
There it is....
Wish I had a big fish picture oh...I do...Its below...
Hey Zaq...remember this past summer when you were giving me the what for about my 12# URB slab that I posted...That really sticks out as a funny post. Hope the next 1000 will bring many good stories...
I want to thank all of those who support this website with their tips & techniques...It really is what this place is all about...
Now with a memorable picture from last summer...I look forward to repeating this the 2nd week of June on my annual trip to Yakutat...
This was my largest Halibut ever... 165#... Really want the 200 pounder this year...

That is Captain Mark Sappington on the left of the Yakutat Charter Boat Company...
We refer to the Happy Hooker boats as "Broken Boat 1" & "Broken Boat 2" by what we were hearing on the radio last summer... They blew an engine one day and busted off a bow rail another day while pulling an anchor...Ouch... :shocked:
