Default Curious New Member With A Question

Hi I've been a skimmer here for a while...registered once and sent one message a long time ago.

My question is this...

Is this pretty much a small core group of people posting? My sense is that it is.

Second..do you feel that more participation would make things more interesting or do you care?

My experience is the more the better.

Interested in your replies. I intend to be a better poster sharing my experiences.

PS if you got this far I'm fishing for Springers tomorrow at Willamette Park (20' North River with new kicker auto-pilot) at 7:00 AM sharp and would love the company of an experienced IFish member. Never touched a Springer last year and I need help!!! PLan on trolling with cut plug blue lable herring but open to ideas.

OK So I'm crabbing at the coast out of Warrenton with two friends one that brought every piece of fishing gear he owns just in case. Boat was in the water and ready to go at 8:00 AM got a call at 8:30 they just woke up...so begins the day.

Here's the rest abreviated

Left low on gas
Crabbing on a big tide change
Fishing for god knows what while crabbing
As the tide changes get nervous cause I can't any of my see three pots through binocs
Race to where they should be
Finally get all three..barely
Hit the gas something blocking intake tide is ripping.
Shut of motor and try again..we are off
Pulling into dock Johnny Law is there to greet us and I know why..old stickers
Two friends and JL on dock as I get backed down and hook up boat.
Here's the good part...I take a small step to the dock..foot slips...in to my chest in front of all.
it goes on and on just one of those days.

Heres my theory on the ifish board. Reading and posting.

I don't like to use the board as a bragging device. I will post a fishing experience both negative and positive when its special or has substance.

I use the board to seek advice from people who enjoy the sport as much as I do.

I try to encourage and help others so that they to can enjoy.

To educate and be educated on fishing related issues.

This board is what you make it.

To quote ****** ( I think ) "It's just Fishing"
