Default Thawed sardines, will they keep?

I bought a couple frozen sardines from Fisherman's the other day before the first trip for springers of the year. As is with all first trips you gotta work the "kinks" out, well, turns out that I had a big one. The cooling system in my outboard isn't working. Impeller, h2o pump, who knows or cares, no springers for me that day. Anyway, now I have some thawed, vaccum packed sardines in my fridge. Should I refreeze them, leave them in the fridge until I can use them this weekend, or chuck them and buy new. If there's a way to save them I would like to, fixing the outboard is going to leave me strapped for cash as is.

Brine them for a couple of days and then throw the brine/sardine mixture in the freezer. They'll work fine.
