Default "A Day On The Lake" show.....and patterning

So how many of you have caught the Outdoor Ch show "A Day On The Lake"?
The show basically takes a Pro and tosses them on some lake they've never fished before and documents how they pick it apart and decide what to do, where and why.

I've been DVR'n it and trying to write down notes to help myself better understand why these guys fish where they fish...and why. I've never really have a good working knowledge of LM and how they behave. This show is helping me w/ that and I'm learning that not every fisherman looks at the water the same. But it is interesting to at least hear them talk about thier decisions and why. They also seem to seek out different spots "for a limit" than they do for upgrading. I really find this type of knowledge interesting.
Check it out.

That is a great show.... it is based off the articles in BassMaster magazine. I think the magazine teaches you more, but do enjoy watching them catch the fish opposed to just reading it.

I think I saw that once. They took this bass pro on to an undisclosed (to the fisher) lake in the SE in Mid February. He ended up catching lke his PB or close to it tossing a crank bait in sub freezing temps across an offshore hump. His guides were making ice , boat ramp dangersouly icey. An intersting show......
