Bear Hunting Video from Fall - Here You Go!
Some of you know that some friends and myself have been creating video's. We are getting close to releasing quite a few here in the next few weeks.
Remember last fall when we got three bears in one day? Well, here is my hunt. You'll have to check out the video for the rest including the other two bears shot that day, two more spring bear hunts and a couple fall bear including a hound hunt with Gary Lewis in California.
Enjoy.

I watched it on Broadside when it aired. That sure is impressive. 3 bears in one day is pretty equal to 4 elk in one day all whole in the back of our truck.

Great video, I am ready to get after them this spring. We are going to try to film with just a home video type camera this year.

That's cool. I remember your story and am interested to see the retrieval technique that they used. Are you going to show that in detail?

Re: Bear Hunting Video from Fall - Here You Go!
I'm working on putting up Robs hunt as well. This is just a sample of some of the hunts we have.
On this DVD there 8 hunts total, a couple really big bears too.
I am glad that you guys like it. I'm pretty picky about what I put my name on I try to make sure that these videos are exactly the way I want them. I keep tweaking with them little by little, but they are turning out very well.

Re: Bear Hunting Video from Fall - Here You Go!
Nicely done! Enjoyed the video.
Did I hear your buddy say that the shot was approximately 220-230 yds?
Also, looked like the bear went down with the single shot. Did you need a follow-up?
How was his hide and meat?

That was a beautiful bear, and yes it tumbled and was dead as soon as the bullet hit it. The ironic thing to all this was we were glassing a BIG bear across the clearcut trying to make a plan to get over to it, when we spotted this one right below us.
The big bear or the smaller one right here in front of me. I took the smaller one and it turned out great. I wish the camera could show just how steep the country is. The shot was 224 yards if I remember correctly.
