:agree: Old saying is when the leaves start blossuming on the dogwood tree but tax day is a good start too. It's hard to say exactly but anytime after april is a good bet. Watch the counts over Bonnie but more importantly, get your line wet. No wet line equals no fresh springers.
St Patty's day was pretty good to me the last couple of years. Amazing how many fish we managed with some of my buddies seeing double! Want an early season? Start doing a southerly rain dance...
I had some early luck last year when the counts were next to nothing and word was it was very slow. when the season opens below the dam i will head out everyday i can, you never know when a push happens...and its better than a day at work..good luck...
Spend some time here Brian..............water temps are listed on the far right of each spreadsheet. You can look at spring chinook returns for the last 10 years.
