Hunting Alaska?

Anyone have any info on hunting Alaska, in particular, SW Alaska. It's looking more and more like I might be heading North for a couple years to kick off my career. Most likely will miss all of archery elk in Oregon and all my Montana hunts as well if the deal goes through. Kind of a bummer, but I just don't think I can pass up this opportunity. Anyway, any info? Sure would like to put a moose and a caribou on the ground with my bow.
