Re: Cedar Plug HOoks
Kurt,
Pilar was passin' hose things out after haircuts man. How did you miss that?
He gave me one that was already rigged with a leader. I'll give you mine if no one else wants to share. Heck! I'll even throw in a hug if that'll help.
I know it was part of a big order John had put together this winter. I'm sorry that I'm not much help, but I felt bad for you just hanging out there with no replies.
even though I'm more of a gaff kinda' guy, I'd like to buy one or trade for one of those harpoon tri-cut tip jobbers with the stainless shaft and wire leader doo-dad. Do you have any left? Interested?
Good luck on the hooks man.
Ragnar

Re: Cedar Plug HOoks
Kurt, maybe my reply will stick this time.
I have a few 10/0 left. There is an order at Englunds, Newport for a box of 8/0 #3412 mustad. Maybe I should call Dean and order another box of the 10/0.
Kurt? Anyone else want some needle eye hooks. Wanna split another box?
Man this feels like groundhog day. I posted this reply like three times during the big switch a rooni and it kept dissappearing.

Re: Cedar Plug HOoks
I got five from Rod, and that should do me for a trial run. I am machining them out of aluminum, like the $25 version by Seastriker. I have also made one with a brass head and aluminum body.
Thanks Rod!
If they have decent action, I will set you guys up.

Re: Cedar Plug HOoks
Kurt-
Quit turning that lathe. I just got off of mine(insert your best four letter word for "customer") and it's no fun! It's so much different when you're doing it for fun vs actually making something that you'll never see again.
Oh my back! I'm going to have a !!
